Democrats spent years calling McConnell “Moscow Mitch” as a way of insinuating that he is controlled by the Kremlin and is a Russian agent. Yet, since the start of the war in Ukraine, he has tirelessly worked to send billions upon billions to Ukraine, the corrupt kleptocracy act the edge of Europe. Of course, we’ll never hear the Democrats recant but Americans must hope that he remembers that his number one concern is, actually, America.
For months, Senate Republicans have been working with Democrats on a deal they have vaunted as a “once-in-a-generation opportunity for a border security bill”, and for weeks, they have hinted that they are tantalizingly close to an agreement. However, the industrial military complex, the neo-cons and assorted swamp-dwellers who all have their beak in the pork contained within the bill are becoming a little more timid about the foreign policy and massive cost implications as Donald Trump gains ground in the primaries. This is not a border bill, it’s a cover-up for the hawks and grifters in Congress.
